Schyler Brown #10 and Former Kenyon Midget Champion Cole Fehr at Kokomo Speedway

Anton arrived in Indiana 6.28.16 from Texas to compete in the UMRA King of the TQ Midgets Series 7/4 -7/14.  Pictured here with his mentor Rick Bailey.  Check out Anton's stats listed below this photo!  Anton will be piloting a Goff TQ sponosred by Scott Petry of Petry Excavating

Un official Kokomo TQ Feature re-cap -48 lead & 69 in 2nd in the beginning laps, 69 took lead Setser 12s going high line in 3rd place and gaining didn't take long and Setser took the led and was lapping cars. Hernandez spun two different times going into turn 2 trying to run the high line, he was gaining momentum but the spin put him back on the tail and after spinning again on another lap he went out but was quickly working his way to the front before spin. 19 and 11L spun out together going into turn 2 . Speidels car not performing and he went out , 83 pulled into the inside of track with 3 laps to go, 18B spun out with 2 laps to go, Two laps to go top ten line up 12s 96 4 48 12 14 19 33 10 4T4. On last lap turn four 10 & 4T4 were getting close, 10 sideways from throwing into to turn wide open to avoid someone ducking under him and ended up limping across the finish line and 4T4 spun to keep from crashing into 10.
Top three- 12s 96 4 unofficial results

I know many of you could not be at Kokomo so I will try to give you an unofficial recap, from the pits.
TQ Heat 1 Line up start the of race Kokomo Speedway

12s-14
19-35Red
Aaron Percell #48 was in the lead until about the 4th lap, Setser 12s passed #48 for the lead and a caution was out so they put Setser back into 2nd place, with 48 back in first , 11L in 3rd, then 14 and Speidel on the tail his car was not running so great at one point I thought he was going to have to go out, not sure what place the 42, 98, 19 were in at that time,.. with in a lap or two Setser took the lead, and Speidels car #35 kicked in and started to run better he passed cars all the way up to passing the 14 on the white flag lap. Race Fans I can't begin to tell you what a super nice person Jason Setser 12s is.  His driving ability speaks for itself through the incredible stats he has chaulked up in his life time motorsports driving career.  You have got to make it a point to go to his race pits after a race and say, "Hi' to this amazing driver. Listen to his interview and you will get an inside look into this man's heart.  He is racing for a cure, and all of his winnings with the 12s are given to the Peyton's Angels The Cure Starts Now Foundation.  He won is 1st feature of the UMRA King of the TQ Midgets 2016 season at the opening season race at Brownstown Speedway in March.  He has had fast times heat wins and Trophy dash wins this season. He got his second feature win at the Super Kokomo Speedway 7.9.16.

Tony Stewart will be at the UMRA King of the TQ Midget Race, July 11, 2016.  He won't be driving this year but he will be signing autographs! 5pm-7pm

Former Kenyon Midgets Champion Cole Fehr was spotted hanging out in the TQ Pits at the Kokomo Speedway this week!  Maybe he is getting the TQ fever too if we are lucky!  Cole drove The American Widow Project, HD Appliance Doyle Racing TQ #91 in the Rush County Fair Race in June.  He is tall so we need to find him the perfect ride to fit in.  He filled in for Doyle's #91 due to Driver Devin Fairchild  taking a race day off to be with his family for his son's ballgame
